Vendors comment,
I fell in love with this property due to its great location, colourful street, open-plan living, and character. The previous owners had already updated the property, including opening up the downstairs area and building the kitchen and I have slowly added to this. The roof and dormer were replaced and en-suite added in the loft room. New wooden flooring has been added in the lounge and all carpets have been replaced. Most recently we extended out the kitchen/ diner, which has a lovely sunny feel due to the lantern window and has under-floor heating for the winter months. We spend a lot of time pottering in here or the sheltered garden, relaxing to the soothing prayers from the Mosque and enjoying the fruit from the very generous fig tree. The extension also created a wonderful roof terrace which provides more outdoor space and is a real sun trap – great for growing tomatoes and other veg. The street is quiet with little traffic due to being a cul-de-sac, and has numerous local shops and cafés on the doorstep. It’s a short walk away from Stapleton Rd train station and easy access to the Bristol/ Bath cycle path which takes you straight into central Bristol. It’s a lovely street with friendly neighbours and a wonderful place to live.
Outside
The west facing garden is a magical space to enjoy the sunshine. The garden is accessed through French doors from the kitchen/diner making it an ideal area for outdoor entertaining.
Location
A fabulous location for many reasons - St Marks Road with its variety of shops & cafés is moments away and the sought after Evergreen Primary Academy is close by. This area also benefits from easy access to the City Centre, local train stations and the M32 motorway - perfect for commuters.
We think...
This home is full of character and charm, making it a great place for couples and families who love the Easton/Greenbank area.
