This extended 1930's home is perfect for families thanks to the extended accommodation and its proximity to the sought after local schools, as well as shops and amenities.

The recent extension on the ground floor has created an open plan kitchen/dining/family space that is very much the hub of this home.
It spans the width of the house at the rear and has double doors that open to the garden, whilst 3 skylights let in plenty of natural light.
The dining room that links to this space, could easily be used as a play room or snug if required.
The kitchen has plenty of cupboard and worktop space, as well as having some fitted appliances.
The lounge has a feature bay window, and as part of the extension, a ground floor shower room / WC has been created.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, all of which are double rooms.
There is a bay window to the master bedroom, whilst the second bedroom has fitted wardrobes.
Previously a separate bathroom & WC, these rooms have been combined to create a large family bathroom that easily accommodates a large shower and cubicle and bath.
A triangular window on the landing is a nice feature.
Plenty of other houses on the street have converted the loft space, so this is a possibility (subject to obtaining the necessary consents).
Outside
The double doors in the family room open directly to the back garden, which is of a south-easterly aspect and measures approx 18m.
There is a patio next to the house whilst the main part of the garden is lawned.
There is parking on the drive way at the front of the house, and there is also a detached garage with power & light.
Location
Reedley Road is always popular thanks to being so close to everything. Elmlea school is around a 5 minute walk, and the shops on Stoke Lane are only around a 7 or 8 minute level walk.
The village is easily accessible, and there are local buses that connect into the city.
There is plenty of open space close by - Canford Park is great for kids, and The Downs isn't far away.
We think...
This really is a lovely home. Its clearly been well cared for over the years and the extension has transformed the ground floor space, All the bedrooms are a good size and having scope to extend into the loft is ideal.
The ground floor shower room/wc is really handy, and being chain free is a bonus.
