Founded by Paul Harris in 1983 with just one office on Gloucester Road, Bishopston – we now have 12 local offices across Bristol, one in Portishead and Weston super Mare!

From the very start, the focus was always looking after the people buying or selling their homes – to make what is often a challenging experience, as worry-free as possible.
Ocean Estate Agents have been selling Bristol and North Somerset homes of all shapes and sizes – large and small, grand and modest, smart and not so smart… for all kinds of people since 1983.
Our services
Ocean was started with a determination to shake up estate agency, challenge the stereotypes, and above all else make the process of buying and selling homes as smooth and stress free as possible.
So it made perfect sense to provide the other vital home move services people needed, all with the same ethos of prioritising customer care above everything else.
Ocean’s teams soon reflected the culturally rich communities of this wonderful city, spanning a diverse mix of ages and backgrounds from across Bristol.
It also turned out to be very much a family business. Many of the team have grown up and started their own families whilst working for Ocean – we even have some second generation ‘Oceaners’ now working for the company.
