Knowle is a popular neighbourhood a mile or so southeast of the city centre, along the Wells Road passing Totterdown on the way. It's a residential area with lots of green space nearby.

Fewer young professionals have ventured this far up Wells Road than nearby Totterdown, but it's still a mixed neighbourhood with lots of young families.

The Broadwalk is just past Ocean’s office, a tree-lined boulevard that heads westwards towards Filwood, via Redcatch Park. Broadwalk Shopping Centre is scheduled for a multi-million poung upgrade, sure to transform Knowle.
